Orbit Dining Table
A single arching base sweeps under a glass ellipse and lands on two points. Chrome-effect or matte house colour.

THE STORY
One arch leaves the floor, sweeps under a glass ellipse, and lands on the far side. Two contact points, 2.6 metres apart, hold a table for eight.
The base is a single shell. In mirror-chrome it is a gelcoat-and-polish discipline: the surface is built up, cut back and polished by hand in four stages until it reflects the room like a bumper. In matte house colour it becomes something quieter, a bone or graphite arc under glass. Cast metal at this scale would weigh and cost roughly ten times as much; the shell is 96 kilograms with the glass.
Base and top go in separate crates and bolt together on site. Tier 3, quoted per project, because the ellipse is cut to the room.
WHY FIBERGLASS
Mirror-chrome over compound curvature is a gelcoat-and-polish discipline. Cast metal at this scale is ten times the weight and cost.
